A few weeks ago there was a storm and lots of trees were blown down.

The perfect time to see the core after they have been cut down in pieces.

Scents of the forest.

Autumn delights.

Finally I found some time to enjoy the end of autumn in the forest.

The mushrooms are mostly gone or covered under a blanket of leaves but the smell and views are overwelming especially on a sunny day like today.

Once the sun sets the temperature drops and you can feel that winter is in the air.
