Yesterday we started with our long vacation.
I found this picture of a bee on lavender photographed last year in France and I always connect it with the smell of holidays.
During our stay in the South-West of France we took the opportunity to go to the town of Lourdes. It’s the biggest place of pilgrimage in France and it is situated at the foothills of the Pyrenees mountains. It has a lot of tourism but at the same time the sanctuary of our lady of Lourdes is a magical place to visit.
Our last big holiday in June 2012 we went to the South-west of France. More specificaly near the village of Eauze in the Gers department. A wine area where they produce wine,Armagnac and Floc de Gascogne. We stayed this time at a golf court in a chalet. Ideal for a relaxing, quiet holiday surrounded with lots of vineyards and nature.
