Scarlet dragonflies.

This afternoon in the nature reserve”Damvallei” I had several encounters with scarlet dragonflies.

First I saw them sitting on a pole but they were attracted to my pale trousers and eventually one landed on my hand !

Magical to see and photograph those beautiful insects in close-up.

A moment I will cherish and I will not soon forget.
