After the many cloudy days I finally got the necessary sunshine that gave me the oppurtunity to take some nice pictures.
This morning I started the day with a nice sunrise in the ” Kalkense Meersen”, wetland carved with remaining waterways from the old river-bed of ” De Schelde”
Last Monday we hiked in Brasschaat, near Antwerp. I was positively surprised that this village contains so much different, beautiful nature areas.
When we returned from the Belgian ardennes we made a stop in the park of Tervuren near Brussels. The building you see was part of the Royal estates of our former King Leopold II. Inside is a museum that shows a lot of Belgium’s colonial past.
